
The Bishop Arts District is home to over 60 Independent boutiques, restaurants, bars, coffee shops, theatres and art galleries. Located in the heart of North Oak Cliff, one of Dallas' most unique neighborhoods , near the intersection of Bishop Street and Davis Street.
The Kessler community is a group of neighborhoods named for George E. Kessler in the Oak Cliff area of Dallas, Texas (USA). Neighborhoods in the area include Kessler Highlands, Kessler Park Estates, Kessler Square, East Kessler Park, West Kessler,Kessler Neighbors United and Kessler Plaza.
Kessler Park is the principal area and is bounded by Highway 30 to the North, Colorado to the South, Beckley to the East, and the Stevens Park Golf Course to the West. Originally a wealthy neighborhood, it fell upon hard times and is now back in vogue.
Stevens Park Village is a neighborhood in northern Oak Cliff, Dallas, Texas (USA), named for its developer, John P. Stevens.
The neighborhood is bounded by Remond Dr to the north, N Hampton Rd to the east, Fullerton Dr to the west and Fort Worth Ave to the south. The neighborhood includes the following streets: Barberry Dr, W Colorado Blvd, Fullerton Dr, Lawndale Dr, Leander Dr, Stevens Crest Dr, Stevens Ridge Dr, and Walter Dr. Most of the homes on Colorado, Lawndale, Barberry, Leander, and Walter were built in 1939 to 1941, while the homes on Stevens Ridge, Stevens Crest, and Fullerton were built in the 1950s and 1960s. While the exteriors retain their historical integrity, the interiors vary from completely updated to completely vintage.
